Produce production, packing, marketing and distribution. Cattle ranching and sod production. These are just a few of the Clear Springs agribusiness initiatives now underway. We invite the collaboration of other independent growers and farmers in the region to join and work together. There are endless possibilities for agribusiness and agritechnology on Clear Springs land. A variety of soils and acreage can support a variety of crop or livestock operations—acreage with soils ranging from clays to sand tailings to well-drained Fort Meade-series soils high in organic matter and rich in phosphorous.

The Clear Springs Distribution Center—a completely refurbished orange concentrate plant fitted with state-of-the-art packing equipment-- comes online in 2007 and represents the area’s newest opportunity. The Center is ideally located on Spring Lake Road with entrance gates sitting directly across the street from the main entrance to Bartow Municipal Airport. The Clear Springs facility covers over 100,000 square feet and will serve as a hub for produce packing, shipping and collaborative private label marketing.
